In May of 2019, KIC Boston broke ground on “Ascent at 1791” a Mixed Use Development in Park City, Utah. Designed by Elliott Workgroup and built by R&O Construction. With two three-story buildings featuring 20 rental apartments that are complemented by an 8000sf commercial building offering 2,200 SF of street level retail space. Upon completion, there will be 13 one-bedroom, six two-bedroom, and one three-bedroom units, as well as 24 underground parking stalls.
This green project is being built to meet LEED Gold standards, with solar panels, efficient mechanical and electrical systems, and is being built using an innovative Cross Laminated Timber system. A first for Utah. Additionally, the project is designed to incorporate walkability and quality of life, with close proximity to free bus transportation and a direct connection to the historic “Rail Trail” trail system.
