Grand Circle Cruise Lines has been named the #2 Small-ship Ocean Cruise Line in the world in the 2018 World’s Best Awards from Travel + Leisure magazine. Each year, Travel + Leisure asks it readers to rate cruise ship experiences based on cabins, facilities, food, service, itineraries, destinations, excursions, and value. For the small-ship ocean cruise line category, readers selected their Top 10 vessels carrying fewer than 250 passengers.
Travel + Leisure noted that the travelers seemed especially drawn to “very comfortable” vessels that specialize in “adventure-focused destinations” such as Antarctica or “hard-to-access” places with “intimate ports” like Split, Croatia, and Kotor, Montenegro, all of which are visited by Grand Circle Cruise Line ships. With so many cruise lines to choose from, we’re extremely gratified that the readers of Travel + Leisure have recognized our distinction by giving us such high marks, with a score of 97.
