This fall, associates of The Kensington Investment Company (KIC) and The Lewis Family Foundation were proud to participate in a project to help beautify the Boston neighborhoods of Dorchester and Mattapan. For the second year in a row, they joined forces with the City of Boston to plant daffodils in honor of our residents and our communities in the parks near where they live.
In all, more than 1,000 bulbs were planted—500 from the City of Boston and 500 from The Lewis Family Foundation. Sara Salazar, KIC’s Property Manager in Dorchester and Mattapan, led the effort, which took place in these neighborhoods:
- Almont Park, 40 Almont Street, Mattapan
- Dorchester Park, 2180 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester
- 14 and 15 Argyle Terrace, Dorchester
- 815 Morton Street, Mattapan
In the spring, a reminder will be sent to residents in these neighborhoods to enjoy these beautiful blossoms!
