Senior Investment Analyst, Alternative & Direct Investments
Josh joined Kensington Investment Company in 2017 as a Senior Investment Analyst to support the growth and management of Kensington’s alternative and direct investment portfolio. Previously, he spent time at a variety of financial and corporate entities including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Garnet Street Partners (a Boston-based single family office investment firm), and EMC Corp, where he worked on debt financings, direct investment, M&A and divestiture transactions.
Josh started his career as a technology entrepreneur, having co-founded two software companies, and is named as a co-inventor on two cyber security patents filed during his time at EMC. He currently sits on the board of directors and finance committee of BalletRox, a local nonprofit 501c3 organization that runs in-school and after-school dance programs at Boston Public School sites throughout the city.
Originally from Canada, Josh graduated from Concordia University in Montreal with a BA and from Babson College with an MBA. He currently lives in Newton with his wife and two young daughters, who are already learning to speak Mandarin. His hobbies include swimming, rowing and hopefully soon, sailing.
