Director of Impact & Evaluation, Lewis Family Foundation
As the Director of Impact and Evaluation, Angie Jaimez provides analytical expertize to inform the Lewis Family Foundation’s programmatic and funding practices in Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan neighborhoods. Born and raised in East Palo Alto, California, a city plagued by similar social and economic disparities, she is committed to changing young people’s lives. As a teenager, her career aptitude test instructed her to be an anti-terrorist agent, anti-narcotics agent or an anthropologist. Having an aversion to violence and possible death, she chose to study the latter at Yale and began her career tracking primates in Africa, teaching 1st grade in Hawaii, and studying the Toba in Argentina. Angie has lived in Boston for the last 5 years, and joined the Lewis Family Foundation after managing Citizen Schools Boston regional operations as Chief of Staff.
